We are the largest and most complete amateur baseball scouting service in the world, hosting more than 1,000 showcases and tournaments each year. We host showcases all over the United States that feature many of the best young players in the country. Our showcases are the perfect platform to see how you stack up with the best players in the country. Our WWBA and BCS tournaments are attended by many of the top travel teams in the country.
Perfect Game gives players a quality environment to be seen by college coaches and Major League scouts. Coaches from nearly all of the 309 NCAA Division I programs regularly attend our events, along with coaches from Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior colleges. All 30 Major League teams also send scouts to our events, greatly enhancing each player’s visibility. Our events also give players an opportunity to gauge their skills against their peers and have a positive experience.
Our tournaments range in age from 6U to 18U and/or corresponding HS graduation year. Our showcases are typically geared toward 13U to high school players, but college players and free agents are invited to some events.
Members of the Perfect Game staff file detailed scouting reports on the players at all of our showcases, and those reports are made available to college coaches and pro scouts for their use through a subscription service. We provide biographical material and contact information, as well as baseball analysis. We also offer a video service through BaseballWebTV. We also publish player rankings, team rankings, pre-draft analysis of high school and college players, feature stories on amateurs and pros, interviews, game stories and much more on our website.

Showcases are individual events, while tournaments are for teams.At a showcase, players will be put through a pro-style work out and play games. Added to the players profile will be a full scouting evaluation from our scouting staff, video from the workouts, a written report and a PG grade posted on our website for coaches and scouts to see. Players are also evaluated for our National Rankings.
We accept direct withdrawals from checking and savings accounts as well as most major credit cards. You can save 3.5% by using a bank withdrawal instead of a credit card. We also now have the option to use Affirm where you pay deposits over a certain amount of time.
A player profile is the part of the PG website that holds a player's biographical information as well as their statistics and events they have attended.
An account on the PG website is what you use to sign in, manage your subscription, and how you view the website.
Creating an account does not create a player profile, just as having a player profile on the PG website does not create an account.

Once the player profile is created and submitted, it has to be manually approved by our staff. Please give it 1-2 business days to show active on the website.

The most likely reason for this is that your account has not yet been activated. If you've recently created an account then check the email address that you used to sign up. Please log into your Perfect Game account and click “my account” in the top right corner. Go to the “Players” tab and click associate player. From here you will search for your player and enter in their information. The information you enter must match what is on the player profile or you will be denied access. Player profiles are manually approved by PG staff and can take 1-2 business days to be approved. The ONLY people associating a player to their account are the parents/player/guardian of the player on the profile. Once approved, this player profile will show on your account under the “players” tab.
DiamondKast is all followed through the Perfect Game website - www.perfectgame.org. This can be done on any web-enabled device. At this time, there is not a mobile app. Your PG account holds your DiamondKast subscription access. There are not separate accounts for Perfect Game and DiamondKast - they are one in the same. To find a live game, please search the team name using the magnifying glass in the top right corner. From there you will select the team you're looking to watch, go to their tournament schedule and click the green Diamondkast logo next to the live game.

The most recently uploaded event photo will be the main profile photo once it is approved, unless the player has attended a showcase and the showcase photo will remain default. Sign into your account on www.perfectgame.org, click My Account. Click the Players tab. Find the player's name and click "Event Profile Image Upload" below the player’s name. Scroll down to where the events are listed, click the 'Upload' button. Please make sure to read over what type of pictures are allowed before submitting. All photos must be approved by PG staff so please allow 1-2 business days to see it reflected on your players profile. If no player appears under "Players", you will need to request to have their profile associated with your account. Click the "Account" tab and "Associate Player to your account", or get there directly by clicking here. Fill out the form and submit and once the request is approved you will be able to follow the steps above to add a photo.
If the showcase photo is still remaining after you have uploaded a new photo, please reach out to mreuter@perfectgame.org to override the showcase photo.

Please note, all players that come into the system are manually approved by staff during business hours. There will be a delay between when the form is completed and the player is approved.
The coach of the team has access to a roster entry form where they can add players that currently exist in the PG database, or add brand new players. The coach and team admins are responsible for adding players to a roster.

Perfect Game requires official documentation to update both birthdate and grad year on a profile. For grad year, PG needs documentation from the school stating the correct grad year or grade level. This can be an official letter or past report card/transcript. For birthdate, PG needs documentation with the correct date of birth such as a birth certificate or a drivers license. Please email this documentation along with the player’s name and info to eligibility@perfectgame.org.
Please log into your PG account and click “my account” in the top right corner. From there you will go to the “Players” tab and scroll down, past the player's name, and next to the profile picture. Click Edit Player Information and scroll down to school information.
There will be an option for a 2-year commitment and a 4-year commitment. You can select the college from the drop-down list. If you cannot find the college, please email eventopsmgmt@perfectgame.org.
Game videos will take 24-48 hours following the completion of the game, to upload to player profiles. If the video is not uploaded at that time, please reach out to dk@perfectgame.org.
We carefully analyze all of the information at our disposal before making the rankings. We rely on personal observation, scouting reports, input from coaches and input from other scouts, trying to make the rankings as accurate as possible. The rankings are regularly adjusted as we receive new information.
Definitely not, although a huge percentage (well over 90 percent) of the top players in the country attend multiple Perfect Game showcases and tournaments. While it’s not necessary to attend a Perfect Game Showcase, it has become a big advantage for many players and allows us to make evaluations much more accurate. The more we see a player, the more we know about him, the more everyone knows about him. Our scouts attend many of the top high school events around the country, including the Area Code game, East Coast Professional Showcase, Junior Olympics and Tournament of Stars, to name a few. We also are continually talking to a network of professional scouts and college recruiters to identify the best players around the country. Our goal is to have the most comprehensive and complete rankings possible.
The most important things to evaluate on any player are their physical tools. For a position player, that is their hitting ability, fielding ability, speed/range, power potential, arm strength, and quantitiave measures of the speed, power, and quickness of a player's swing. For a pitcher, it is evaluating their delivery and arm action, along with their selection of pitches (i.e. fastball, curveball, changeup, etc.). A scout is also evaluating how much better he thinks a player is getting with normal growth and hard work (i.e. their projectability) for their body type and athleticism. Attention is definitely paid to a player’s intangibles as much as possible (i.e. hustle, character on and off the field, etc.). One thing that is not especially important is performance, because anything can happen at a short showcase event.
There are some showcases that attract hundreds of scouts and college coaches and there are some that will have much fewer. The most important thing to keep in mind is that thousands of colleges and all MLB teams utilize Perfect Game’s website as an important scouting tool.
PG dedicates our service not only to the players but to the scouts and college coaches. It starts with only inviting players that we think recruiters would want to see. Having prospects at our events and on our website increases their exposure to scouts and college coaches and allows the scouting community to utilize PG as an important scouting tool.

PG scouts take notes on players at our tournaments, but it is at the showcase where we get more detailed information on each of the participants. Whatever activity the prospect is involved with on the field, our scouts watch and record detailed notes. During the workout sessions, we record 60-yard dash times, every throw from the infield, outfield and behind the plate gets radar-gunned, and we measure six important quantitative measures of the swing that are indicators of on-field success. Catchers get their pop times recorded and pitchers get evaluated and their velocities recorded during scrimmage play. We video tape the workout portion of the showcase and video clips will be posted along with a comprehensive written report and PG grade on our website, which are heavily followed by college coaches and scouts. If you are looking for the highest level of exposure, you will want to attend a Perfect Game showcase.
Every participant at a Perfect Game showcase will be provided the opportunity to take part in a workout session, which typically includes a 60-yard dash and infield, outfield and catching throws to measure arm velocities, measure six important quantitative measure of the swing, along with a batting practice session. Prospects will be divided into teams and full-length games (usually 10 innings) will be played to provide pitchers an opportunity to get in front of college coaches and scouts and give position players an opportunity to perform in game situations.
Without Skillshow you will still be able to see short video clips of skills performed (i.e. pitching, throwing from outfield, bp, etc). To sign up online you must first signin to your Perfect Game account (upper right corner of home page) using your username/password. Next click on the blue 'My Account' button. Scroll down to 'Approved Events'. If you are approved for that showcase, click on the 'Register Now' for the corresponding showcase.
The report and PG Grade as well as video will be added to the players profile page around 4 weeks from the end of the event.

In the bottom of the email, there should be an “Official Invitation Link” that you can click on. That link will bring you directly to the registration page. If you are a new customer and have not created a Perfect Game account, you will need to do so before registering.
In the top right corner of Perfect Game’s homepage, you will see a Sign In / Create Account button. When you click create account, fill out the necessary information. You will receive a confirmation email. Next, click the Login button and enter your username and password. Once you are logged in, click on the “Official Invitation Link” in the email and it will bring you to the registration page.
All age eligible players have been pre-approved (based on players HS grad year) for the Series Classic To register, click the "Register Now" button next to the event for which you would like to register in the "Approved Events" section of your "My Account" page. You will be able to pay in full at the end of the registration form. All payments are non-refundable. A transferable credit will be granted until 3 weeks prior to the start of the PG Series Classic, in the event you are unable to attend. For all Perfect Game events, players and families are required to book hotels through EventConnect For each event, there will be a specific booking link. Perfect Game will also provide options (not required) for rental car companies with discount codes available.
All age eligible players have been pre-approved and invited (based on players HS grad year) to participate in the Series Classic.
The payment / registration deadline is 2 weeks before the event start date. Spots are filling up fast so please complete registration at your earliest convenience.
Teams will typically have 11-12 players on each team. There may be pitcher only positions available depending on the situation.
For players that register for the pitcher only position, they will be able to participate in all parts of opening ceremonies, skill testing and practice. They will be able to hit during batting practice. During game play, they will be playing the pitcher position only. They will have 2-3 appearances throughout pool play depending on the situation and Pitch Smart guidelines.
Perfect Game staff will be filling the rosters by territory and by positions. Our goal is to create teams by where the players live first; however they may be put on a different team if adjustments need to be made for positional purposes.
On the event page for the PG Series Classic, there will be a tab that says "Profiles". There you will be able to see all of the players attending and who is on your team. The rosters for each team will be added as they are completed. All teams will be available two weeks prior to the event.
The coaches will consist of college and high school coaches and college baseball players. A coach will be assigned to your team for the whole week. There will be a team practice on the second day where coaches will be able to meet and greet all of the players and discuss the week. Coaches will be helping out on the first day for skill testing and Opening Ceremonies.
Coaches will be strictly game/practice managers for the week. Trained by Perfect Game staff, coaches will understand expectations, ultimately giving the player the greatest experience possible for the PG Series Classic. Coaches are to encourage a positive playing environment, guide players throughout the week, and most of all have fun! Please do not expect coaches to give instruction on a fundamental level or throw batting practice before the games.
On the event page for the PG Series Classic, there will be a tentative weekly overview of the schedule. Once the event nears, this schedule will be updated with team arrivals for check-in, skill testing schedule, teams practice times, clinics and seminars. All locations and directions will be listed for each facility. We advise that you arrive the day before player check-in and depart the day after the Championship games. Every team will be playing a double header the last day of the event.
Teams will have various check-in times that will be listed on the schedule. Players can expect to be greeted by PG Staff and receive the PG Series Classic lanyard and program. From there, players will then proceed to acquire their player bags that will consist of the jerseys, pants, workout shirts, shorts, helmets, socks, and belts. All of the sizes are from the registrations. If you need to resize, we will specify a time for exchanges or have a designated area to do so.
We ask that all players arrive an hour before games. Coaches will be writing the lineups and have all of the roster information for players and what positions they play. Coaches will be rotating players between their primary positions and their secondary positions throughout pool play games to ensure the fairest playing time possible.
The skill testing schedule on the website will have teams listed for certain times and stations. Please follow the skill-testing schedule provided for you. Once players have finished all of the testing, they will be able to leave.

Every facility that is used in Lee County contains a lightning stroke detector. Lightning delays will happen when the stroke is detected within 10 miles of the surrounding facility. The horn will sound one time for 5 seconds to alert the delay. The Lee County lightning policy requires players and parents to seek shelter. Games will resume when there hasn’t been a stroke within 10 miles for 30 minutes. The horn will sound 3 times in a row to alert the all clear and play may resume.
Every year since the beginning of the PG Series Classic in 2015, we have made vast improvements to the overall event along with the competition. For the older age groups, college coaches have been contacted and are aware of the event. There is no definitive answer of who will be in attendance. Please note, this is not a showcase event. Perfect Game staff will be in attendance for event blogs along with write-ups for teams and selected players.
Most every game will be available in real time on DiamondKast. You can connect to any game by going to the selected event page, the schedule, and clicking the DiamondKast logo on game you are interested in watching. There will be live games that are displayed on the event page as well. All statistics will be recorded along with pitchers’ velocities for every game. All-Tournament teams and Daily Leaders will be available for viewing. All skill testing results will be updated to reflect the player’s Perfect Game Profile within a short time frame after the event is completed.
The PG Series Challenge is a one-day athletic testing event designed to measure, record, and track a baseball player's most important attributes. Using strictly objective testing, The Challenge will be a valuable tool in determining an athlete’s raw talent production and potential projection on the field. In today's age of advanced technology, MLB teams and college coaches are relying more and more on measurable data to breakdown a player - whether it's for recruiting a high school prospect, selecting a draft pick, or simply tracking a big leaguer's every day production. Perfect Game's mission with The Challenge is to be a frontrunner in the world of collecting useable baseball data that will ultimately help players understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve on the field. The Series Challenge event is NOT a showcase.
These events are open to players of all skill level and all ages. Since there are no actual games being played, players of different ages can attend all at the same time.
To sign up, visit the particular event page for “The Challenge” you wish to attend. If you are signed into your PG account and there is a green button on the event page that says “Sign Up,” you can complete registration there. Otherwise there will be a button on the event page that says “Request an Invite,” and a member of our staff will approve your request upon completion and send a follow up email for you to finish registration.
All Results are posted on the player’s PG Profile along with the PGAME Score and OPTOJUMP score.
PGAME is our proprietary scoring metric that takes into account all of the player’s results from The Challenge and displays their performance in a single score. The PGAME score can be compared to other players at the event and across the country, with the main goal being improvement on the PGAME score with proper training. PGAME scores reflect each player’s overall athletic ability.

No, PG does not have coaches check-in/meeting prior to tournament. They will receive their coaches packet at their first game.
PG does not have any player check-in for tournaments.
PG doesn’t require any proof of age unless a team protests a game due to an illegal player.
Games of all tournaments will begin as early as 8:00 AM on the first date listed on a tournament unless otherwise noted.

The WWBA World Championship, which is held annually in Jupiter, FL in late October is a strict invite-only event. It is our oldest and most prestigious event we run. It is limited to 85 teams, with well over 200 wanting in. There are 7 spots for Qualifier winners. The only way to get a new team into this event that doesn’t win a Qualifier is if a team drops out, which doesn’t happen very often.
For the 16u & 17u WWBA, the orders of invitations go as follows:
1. Teams that want to return to the 17u WWBA that participated in the event last year.
2. Teams that finished well in last year's 16u WWBA.
3. New teams that have requested invitations online.
Perfect Game does not enter this data, please see your coach first to correct it. If that does not work, send an email including your player name, graduation year, city, state, player ID, the email you use to login, and corrections needed to one of the Tournament Management Assistants listed on the contact page.

For any Perfect Game nationally run tournaments (red flag tournaments), it is mandatory to stay in a hotel provided by the PG housing partner. Every tournament has a Player/Team Bulletin Board where you can sign him up as an individual so if a team needs an extra player, they can contact him to play. You will need to go to the tournament page that you are interested in and press the "Event Info" button on the tournament homepage. This will open up a side menu to the left, and then you'll select Player/Team Bulletin Board and this is where you can add your player to it. The player must be associated with your account to be able to do this. Once the player is posted there, coaches will have contact information available to them to reach out to you all if they are wanting to pick up your player.
A perfect game combine will serve as an event to collect player data, drills, agility, and provide a mentoring session. There will not be any games played.
A perfect game scout is a trained talent evaluator, that not only breaks down the athlete’s talent on a physical side, but on a mental side as well. Our scouting department will be a valuable resource for collegiate coaches in helping identify talent and being the liaison between college coach and athlete. Our scouts will also be a valuable resource for the student athlete in their maturity and mental training as they grow off the field. Our scouting department is a program for former collegiate coaches and athletes that our now utilizing their knowledge to help grow the game at the youth level.
Perfect Game Softball has an amazing staff of scouts who have played and coached at a high level, with insights and knowledge on PSA's. Throughout the year, PG scouts create a long list of athletes that could potentially be named to our ranking list. Once that is created, PG Softball scouts set out to get eyes on each athlete at a number of different events. Once they see the athletes, in person. The list is then discussed amongst our team and the final top 50 is announced.
No, although there are guaranteed scouts at PG tournaments and PG Combines, we do our best to have coverage at many other tournaments throughout the year.
A student Athletes Perfect game Score with be a combination of data analytics that each athlete will be ran through at a Perfect game combine and Scout evaluation during on field drill work. We will then take the two metrics to give each Athlete a Perfect Game Grade for their Player profile.
A Perfect Game Locker is a centralized platform where student athletes can house all of their data, metrics, Skillshow videos, Diamond Kast stats, awards, and contact information in one place for college coaches to easily access.
This combine will be specific to your organization. If you have 100+ athletes that plan to participate, perfect game will bring a private combine to your organization only.

Perfect Game Organizations and Teams
PGBA Membership is required prior to participation in a Red, White or Blue event. The PGBA Membership fee is $99.00, and up for renewal on August 15th.
Upon being accepted into a tournament, you will receive an email with a link to pay for the PGBA membership fee as well as the tournament fee. The PGBA fee must be paid before you are able to pay for any tournament.

Coaches- The link for the roster edits page can be found by logging into your PG account and clicking “my account” in the top right corner. Then you will go to the “Teams” tab, click “Menu” next to a tournament and then “Roster Edit”.
Coach- Once you are in your roster edit page, you will either look up the player or create the player.
If your players already have player profiles from previously playing in a PG event, you can search them by typing in their first and last name on the right-side bar. Once typing the last name click out of the box and it will pull a list of eligible players, you can find your player from that list.
If they do not have a player profile you will fill out all the information required under the “Add Player" section, this will email the parents and prompt them to finalize the player profile. While creating profiles, they will have the opportunity to sign the media/participate release form. Player profiles are then added to the player queue to be manually approved by PG staff. The approval process can take up to 2 business days.
All players must have a player profile created with their waiver signed in order to participate.
